"I thought some might be interested in the so called "Pop Rocky Hammer Smurfs". Those are awards that were given out by the German Pop/Rock/Music-magazine called "Pop Rocky" sometime in the early 80's. The readers got to vote for their favorite celebrities once a year. The smurfs came in gold, silver, bronze and black. They are made of a heavy rubber material on a wood base. It is said that over 100 celebrities already received an award like this. Of course these "statues" were NEVER available to the public. I personally think the BLACK one is the hardest one to find, since hardly any of those were ever awarded." Quote from Dirk Bliesener.

Robyn Rasmussen's Collection. "I have only just restarted my collection from when I was a child. The first one I was given was the normal Smurf which my brother gave to me because he didn't like it any more because he bit off the arm. Here are some pics of my collection I thought you might like to add to your web site."

This is Patrik Norqvist's (from Sweden) collection of smurfs that he has been collecting for 28 years. Almost every single smurfs was bought in toy stores in many different cities that he visited. He got his first one when he was eight years old, as a X-mas gift.
